Unique opportunity to take on advanced word game prototype and develop for Games platforms - lucrative profit share

Good afternoon all

Game Concept

The game is an advanced multi-platform competitive turn based word game - think SCRABBLE / WORDS
WITH FRIENDS with unique features that will create greater competition, a bigger ‘buzz’ and more fun for
users than anything else in this category. It is highly addictive and can be played at increasing levels of difficulty. Moreover, it offers huge potential in the education and language learning sectors.

Game Prototype

Yes we have a playable prototype! This has been developed by me (an accountant by profession) on a
Windows platform in VB/ACCESS - the only reasonably proficient computer language skills I possess. It is a bit buggy - not in the game play which works very well - but in the notification procedures between the players (It uses an Office365 connection). The game requires access to (English) dictionary resources and the prototype has a table resource (600,000 items) supplemented by calls to a dictionary web service. Despite its limitations, the prototype provides a pretty good idea of the basic concepts and game play.

What we are looking for

A talented individual who can take on the lead role of developing the game for multi-platform publication.
He/she will need to have good communication skills and a first class understanding of :-

  • app development, publishing and marketing.
  • Game Project management
  • multi-platform competitive turn-based games - especially word games (A love of word games would be a distinct advantage)
  • integration into the major social media games platforms
  • how to effectively integrate the internal and/or external dictionary resources needed
  • game monetization

Location

I am UK based and would prefer someone who is also UK based, but would also be interested to hear from applicants further afield.
