Universal Build: Just pulled app off of itunes over issue.

I have recently encountered a very strange issue that I feel completely unable to solve. I have a game that runs perfectly in the simulator and returns no errors in the terminal. The sole problem with the game is that the level selection menu has a tendency to never transition in on the iphone and occasionally not transition in on the ipad.

I have a list of possibly relevant information,but no conclusions.

The menu is very likely to not run on the first run after instillation on the ipad.
The menu will not ever run on my ipod touch 4g and on another user’s iphone 3gs.
The menu has run consistently on one user’s 3gs phone.
Some connection to openfeint has been suggested and I have found no correlation.

Endless mode does not use this menu and the game runs without latency.
