Up and Running - Post Your Initial Success Here

Post your initial success here to let the staff know you’ve started using the beta and were able to get at least something rudimentary working.

Hi.  This is my initial feedback on the beta program.  I thought it might be nice to have a place where the team can look to see who has successfully built and run an app.

Steps That Worked For Me

  1. Received the beta instructions.
  2. Installed the latest build. 2015.2656
  3. Enabled the beta.
  4. Tested a build. - Fishes Example

I started playing with it last night.  I’ve built two of my apps so far.  The first was my very first game and it compiled and built correctly.  That said I made no changes, so when it went to try and login to GPGS it failed, which is expected since GPGS isn’t supported.   The second app, apparently I left in a broken state trying to convert it from Storyboard to Composer.  Once I solved those problems, the only thing not working is In App Purchasing, which of course a Windows app isn’t going to work with Google Play or iTunes Connect.

I feel this is off to a great start!

this game compiled from first try.

Yech - need to find solution for IAP then. And google how to upload game to win store.

WIth steam it is easer via greenlight.

So far most things are working great, we have forever lost 1, 3, cabin escape, and ferris mueller, pretty much all working fine. The only major issue so far is the lack of native text input.

Haven’t started working on fl2 yet but I’m pretty confident it’ll be just as smooth.
