Hello,

when I upload updates of my apps to the appstore the users don’t get an update notification. Could someone please explain which steps are neccessary to notify the users that a new version of the app is available when they visit the app store?

Apart from directing them to your website when they first download your app and sign up for some newsletter where you can directly notify them…

I’m pretty sure the AppStore app displays a little red number next to the app indicating how many updates are available, based on the apps they have installed. I know it’s not instant though, it does take at least a few hours after it has been approved (maybe more) for that number to display over the AppStore icon.

I don’t think that’s an issue with your app but moreso something you should contact apple about… [import]uid: 7849 topic_id: 1662 reply_id: 4953[/import]
