Updating App made with Corona - How does it work?

I’m developing my first App for iPhone / iPad and it’s gonna be a bit big… I’m looking at about 60 MB.

If I make an update to it in the future and submit the updated build to the App store, will the user have to re-download the whole App or just the bit that was updated? And is it similar for Android?
