Upgrading to a new build of Corona SDK

This may seem like a really ridiculous question, but for all other Mac Noobs out there (as well as me!):

If a new build of Corona SDK has been released since I originally downloaded it, what is the proper procedure for upgrading on my Mac?

Thanks. [import]uid: 70196 topic_id: 30120 reply_id: 330120[/import]

Download and install… that’s about it. I always backup my projects first even though Corona doesn’t really modify your code but hey, better safe than sorry  [import]uid: 147305 topic_id: 30120 reply_id: 120585[/import]

Just to expand on the above, in particular for those who normally use a PC-

  1. Download new version of Corona and open DMG
  2. Drag new version of Corona to Application
  3. Choose “Yes” when asked if you wish to overwrite existing file “Corona” with new file

Note: this is why you never save your projects in the CoronaSDK folder- some people do this early on then and then clear them during an update.

Wow - thanks guys! Fastest late night response ever!

I guess I better get over to that tutorials page and get on with my studying. (Great job on those, BTW Peach!)

Mouse Over Button Effects, here i come…

Cheers. [import]uid: 70196 topic_id: 30120 reply_id: 120622[/import]
