Uploading apk to Android Developer Console Fails

Hi there,

Recently, I have decided to include the in-app purchases feature to my app. I wanted to go through the steps provided by corona community (Getting Started with Android In-app Billing), however I got stuck in early stages. I used the Build 2012.971 to build my apk with androiddebug key. The problem is when I wanted to upload the apk file to android developer console it fails and says “try to upload another apk!”.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Please note I just want to test my in-app purchases and I changed the build.settings as it was recommended by Getting Started with Android In-app Billing.

You can’t upload APK’s signed with the debugkey. You have to use a real release key. [import]uid: 199310 topic_id: 35059 reply_id: 139418[/import]

Thanks Rob,

I signed the apk with my own private keystore and I could upload it successfully. I haven’t managed to access test in-app product keys though.
