Uploading app

Hello , When I try To upload the app to my google play account , I get this error :

**Upload APK
Upload failed

You uploaded an APK that was signed in debug mode. You need to sign your APK in release mode. Learn more about signing.**

Any Help ?

The error is quite clear. Android uses keystrokes to sign your app. There’s a default debug keystrore for testing and side-loading apps. You however have to have a release keystrore to submitto anya android store. Please see:http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/distribution/androidBuild/index.html

I am getting this error too.  My app is already in the store.  I just updated the version and rebuilt using Corona and the same release keystore.  I tried creating a new keystore, but the Play store tells me I must use the original one the app was submitted with (and tells me the new one is also in debug mode)  I’m not sure what could have changed between builds.

Odd.  I moved everything over to a PC and built it there.  Same files, same keystore and it is fine.

did you compare the contents of the keystores on both devices to make sure they are actually the same?
