Ah, I didn’t see there was a Feature Request forum for subscribers. This has to be my #1 complaint. Back (besides Home) is the most basic action, and it desperately needs to be supported. Unless an app is only a single screen, user confusion and annoyance is pretty much guaranteed. [import]uid: 41955 topic_id: 11381 reply_id: 41556[/import]
You should “touch” Carlos and warn him about this issues. Most of Android’s users need BACK button to go back or return from a scene to previous scene.
This is an user experience issues. You cannot tell your customer: hey, here is an CORONA game, don’t press Back button :)) [import]uid: 9190 topic_id: 11381 reply_id: 42203[/import]
Thanks for your report. We are aware of this long-standing feature request and our engineers are working on this. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA at this time. We have added another request to increase the priority.
For your reference, the related internal tracking numbers for this feature are #6343 and #744.
Now I have one more related request: Is there any way to trigger the back and/or menu button press event from the Simulator (i.e., from an option under the Hardware menu item)? It’d be nice to be able to test. [import]uid: 41955 topic_id: 11381 reply_id: 45264[/import]
