USE THIS THREAD: Is the Build Server Down?

I doubt the issue is related to this, but a few days ago I was hired to fix a website that had started acting up early in January. In their case, the website’s original programmer had tried some weird optimisations to the back-end and had created their own mini-Y2K problem. If the website’s database was accessed by users from certain time-zones during a specific time-frame it simply crashed because the back-end tried to create some new entries to a past date.

Thank you rob for your message. Juste made a successful build.

Pointing out a problem in relation to time slots seems to be correct; I think we all experience that.

I imagine the pressure is high and so is the frustration. But still, 2 weeks without a single clue about the root problem? Have you considered bringing in a marabout?

Nice day to everybody and good luck to Corona guys…

Hey Rob,

This is a very useful piece of information. I’m glad I was able to find it. I would recommend posting it in other places as well, like Twitter and other Corona News places.

Failed to build on Android. Error code 256.

Made a successfull build just now and, like everyday after 6pm, everything seems to work fine again… What a strange situation

Have you tried to switch off all traffic to the server apart from a single external IP address?  I assume there is some firewall sitting in front of this server.  Can you not restrict all traffic to the server apart from one IP address so you can verify if traffics is a route cause?

You need to know if the issue is external or internal right?

Successful iOS build just now. Almost 3:00 PM in GMT+8 (PST).

During the ‘suspect time’ last night, I found that about 75% of the time it would stick on “Authorizing build …” for 5-10 minutes, then it would continue (still slowly, though.) I never had it fail completely on its own but aborted/killed after 20 minutes a couple times. Seems to be ‘flapping’, though with very large flaps.

In the grand tradition of making suggestions I know nothing about, regarding the effort to accommodate offline(ish) builds for iOS, it would be personally helpful to my selfish self that if the build didn’t require/include any plugins, that it went completely offline.

Rob

Do you know why the linking issue from earlier in this thread would  happen?  I’m not outputting to the same directory as the app source, and have successfully built this app for a year prior.  Any help would be appreciated

Which linking issue is that @ruck.stupek?

As if the Corona brand wasn’t diluted enough!

Now it goes Virus > Beer > Thing around the Sun > Renderer > Game Engine

Today I have successfully built a few times both for Android and iOS. It seemed to me that the build processes are faster now.

Currently still unable to build, any new updates on the issue?

Down again. As rob had said, it’s a weekday problem and now into week3

When the server is down do you get the following error?

I read before that this is supposed to be a Java version error and have been reinstalling java like a maniac (yes version 8)…

Exception in thread “DisconnectableInputStream source reader” org.gradle.api.UncheckedIOException: java.io.IOException: Access is denied

The times seem to fit for me, at least in terms of build speed. But I get the following error when building for Android, while iOS works, and a friend is able to build for Android.

So I don’t know if this error is related to the problem at all? Any help is appreciated.

Error while fetching plugins ERROR: unable to fetch build ID: HttpDownload: download failed with status: 504

Bought AdMob plugin spend all my savings on it. Now Corona server is not responding XMLRPC http 504  some time plugins not fetch some time I cannot authorized connection timeout. Its better to move to Unity. If this keep happening.

ERROR: Account: xxx@gmail.com

The operation couldn’t be completed. (HTTP error 504.)

Unexpected connection error occurred: 11

If you are not connecting to the internet directly (for example, you connect via a proxy server) you might want to try a direct connection to see if that solves the problem.

Check the console for more information.

I’ve been getting this today…it’s been days since my last successful build. Really halted my work on HTML5 builds.

Ben

Better get Appodeal and AdMob via Appodeal than just the AdMob plugin. You save money and get better performance.

Appodeal is underperforming too.

Right now, imho, the best all-around monetization plugins / networks (Appodeal and Admob) have serious problems.

Appodeal plugin would be simple to just get an update…

Also they should tell us what exactly doesn’t work in Admob plugin and make it free until they fix it.

Almost every day I have successful builds, but specific hours only.

Still unable to build, very unhappy clients :frowning:

Is there a service status page I can look at as oppose to dig through the forums
