I am planning to place ads in my app, and it is built for both iOS & Android version. Here are my questions:
(1) If I use iAd, does the Android version still shows the ads from iAd? I am thinking just to use iAd only for both iOS & Android versions, is it possible?
(2) A question about the iAd banner size. For example, I saw the document
It says the width of iAd banner is 360 (portrait) or 480 (landscape) for iPhone and 768/1024 for iPad. And my app using “letterbox” scaling with different sizes than the banner width (and to my app, the content size is the same for both iPhone & iPad), will the ads from iAd get scaled too? Kind of confused in this part…
And how to decide the “x” to put the ad?
(3) Can I show the Ad in a scrollView? I saw the sample code to show an ad is like this:
ads.show( “banner”, { x=0, y=0 } )
the x,y must be absolute values and no display object is created? It looks like I can’t show it in a scrollView?
(4) From your experience, do you encourage to use multiple ad providers or just stick to one?
Thanks.
