Using android consumePurchase() to mark an item consumable in android

Hi,

I have developed a game with in-app purchases. My game has its own currency which can be bought using real money. Therefore, I need a managed and consumable in-app product. In IOS market this can be easily handled using consumable products. However, in android the managed products can only be marked as consumed if you call consumePurchase() for an in-app product. I was wondering if there exist a similar function in corona sdk or another way to manage consumable products in android market using corona sdk.

Hi!

We are also looking for a solution to this. Unfortunately Corona does not support version 3 of the Google In-App Billing API. This is a key feature for the Android market and it’s a shame that it’s still not supported by Corona.
