Using corona Simulator when Blind

I have been developping a game in Corona but am running in to a really annoying issue.

I’m totally blind, and so using the simulator hasn’t really ben an option for me.  However, having to recompile, and then upload my app to my device every time is getting extremely time consuming.  I find with the simulator I am not able to use my mac’s trackpad to simulate touches and swipes which is what my game uses.  I know there is an app for accepting accelerometer data, but my game only uses the touch screen.

Is there any other way I can handle this kind of stuff or does anyone have any tips as to how I can get the simulator to recognize touch and gestures.  Since I’m blind, every time I go to touch or tap, my simulator loses focus and goes to other windows. Any suggestions are welcome.

An update of sorts.  I’ve had limitted success tapping the trackpad on my mac.  Of course the major problem with this is that often times I will lose focus ont he simulator.  I did some reading yesterday and found out about the hardware keys such as the trackball controlls. Unfortunately these are only availible on android and not even on the sim.  Am still stumped as to what I can do and having to send my app for testing each time I make a change is getting ridiculous as well as probably giving the Corona servers unnecisary work.  I know this is a problem that virtually no one has run in to, but would love suggestions.

Did you have a look at corona ultimo (or so) app in the iTunes App Store? What I understood it simulates also touches, but I have not tried it for myself. Perhaps get in touch with its developer before buying?

While I can hardly imagine how you use a GUI, perhaps there is a solution with automator? For Windows OS I know some “multiboxing” software that broadcasts defined hotkeys or mouseevents to defined application windows, wheather it has focus or not. Perhaps research in that direction?

Sysbees.  Thank you. I looked in to autohotkey and have made macros to click and drag in all four directions.  This is helping a lot.
