Using (flash) LED / Flashlight

Just so you know, I am not talking about the “flashlight” that makes your screen white (yes they exist) becuase quite frankly those dont work. I have been looking through the APIs but I can not find any code on how to access the light you use for the camera as a flashlight.
Does anyone have experiencing using the iPhone (or androids) phone LED/flash light as an actual light? To be I would love to work with this. I have been looking through documentation and can’t seem to find anything.

I am pretty sure it has been done before, as I was reading about it in John Haney’ blog. I ‘THINK’ he used corona

Yes it can be done in Enterprise.

This is an iOS example, but a similar thing can be done on Android. I just don’t have an Android device with a flash to have done a tutorial for.
