Using my pc keyboard keys for testing in Simulator

I could only find some old threads about this. There it was said that it is not yet possible to use your PC keyboard for testing in the simulator.

Now I am making a game that uses the accelerometer for moving my player. But i like to test it in the simulator so I don’t have to build my game every time to test a little change…

In the other thread from a 6 months ago it said that the developers of corona are aware of the problem and intend to fix it. Is this done already?

Seriously I think this could help ALOT of developers who like to use corona! And maybe can sometimes even stand between buying the SDK or not…

And I asked this before, but I don’t seem to get a decent answer. Can I set my app to change the media volume instead of call volume when turning up or down the volume of my android device? Cause the volume of the app responds to the media volume, but I cannot change it when I am playing my app cause then it will only turn down the call volume.

I have to go to another app and change the media volume there, if for example my media volume is off and I want to turn it on to hear my games music!! [import]uid: 118839 topic_id: 24889 reply_id: 324889[/import]

You can try using this free app.
You can send accelerometer data from your device to simulator.

Saves a lot of time.

If you need the complete thing, you should check this out.

It costs, but it’d probably be worth the hassle [import]uid: 64174 topic_id: 24889 reply_id: 101001[/import]
