Using the Google Places API with Corona

Hi again,

I am looking to use Google Places API in my app but don’t see any examples how to incorporate it into Corona. Could someone with knowledge of how to use the Google api in Corona please help me out. I already have a key from Google to use and and read through their introduction, now I just need help to use it inside Corona.

I know Google maps were used already in the map view example, so it cannot be that difficult. I noticed no google map library was included so I am a bit confused. Also google api uses commands using URLs and I do not see any of that in the mapview example. Can someone please explain and set me straight.
