I’m looking at the possibility of using Corona as the visual client interface for something like this

it’s basically using a javascript socket client to talk to a remote server.
I have a couple of questions:
- can i open a 1x1 webpopup up for constant communication. ie it’ll be on-screen but barely visible, but I want to communicate back and forth to it. Is this possible? or can I only have a one way communication ie in the
2) once async http is implemented (January drop) will this allow me to run a realtime socket for the application as demonstrated above.
Mainly though the socket is one way.. the phone user sends data to the server, they don't really need info back. the server will be triggering an external application that displays feedback (ie on a projector) based on user input from their device
