It seems that the network.request function in Corona thinks of server text files sent to it using ‘Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8’ as being ISO/ ANSI or something related. I can’t get them to display correctly either in a text field or the console. (Bit of a showstopper for me right now as I’m working with Chinese characters content…) The same file displays fine in all 3 different browsers I tried. There is no BOM/ Byte-Order Mark sent either.
