What is the current unicode version supported by the utf8 plug-in?
Does it support the latest unicode version 15 (https://unicode.org/versions/Unicode15.0.0/)?
The underlying project did get an update: https://github.com/starwing/luautf8/releases/tag/0.1.4. I don’t believe it’s been brought in yet, though.

Hopefully we can get it soon then. I see the submit is quite old.
Does this matter? What benefit is there?
The new unicode set contains new characters we need for our app. It will greatly simplify the development of a feature we are currently working on. Is it a great difficulty to support the new unicode version?

Can this feature be added to one of the nearest updates?
