That looks really really neat!

Is there going to be ( or is there currently ) a way to hide the .cider folder? Also the few lines cider adds at the top of the code (main.lua) is there a toggle to show / hide them? I think there hidden by default right?

Yes the .cider folder will be removed in the next update, we no longer have any use of it.

It is currently not hidden by default but when the IDE detects the simulator has been closed it will automatically remove the require files so you may never see it. We don’t want to ever hide the library file because you will need to make sure it is not there when you are building your app for instance.

We will be releasing it today, still have a few bugs to stamp out with the autocomplete before we release it to our beta testers.

Yes! Cider is equivalent to Glider in all aspects except the name and logo. All current users will have the same benefits and all updates are free.

Hello All,

Here is another feature preview: bundled Corona API docs with an integrated browser. The autocompletion selection will also point the browser to the proper API page.
