Hi there,
iOS builds are taking more than 20 minutes and sometimes timeout occurs, this started like 2 months ago and getting worse all the time. Android builds does not have any problem.
I am using hosted plugins and I am suspecting it might be a caching issue or something.
Could anyone have an idea whats going on?

I’ve reported it but I’ve not heard anything yet.
Our team thinks they have improved builds for iOS some, but are still researching the issue. It would be useful to have a copy of your console log from the build.
Is it better for you now?
Please note, there seems to be a most likely unrelated issue with Android plugins that we are also looking into. Please keep this thread about iOS builds, please. If you’re experiencing Android build problems, please start a new thread or use an existing thread for that. Again, copies of your console log from the build would be quite useful.
Because these console logs can be quite large, please use a service like pastebin and post the link here.

Hi, I got the same problem too.
Last week it was fine for me though.
Not as fast as android builds but not as slow as now either!
Could this be the reason?

I wish it was just slow today it just crashes for my connects to server as soon as it has a build id just shuts down simulator all together. Anyone have my problem?
Please post your build log from the Corona console log window. Use a service like pastebin.com and then share the link to the pastebin here.

Here is the log from successful build, which was only possible after 3 or 4 “timeouts”, “unable download zips” etc.
As you will find out it took 40 minutes and with counting failures it took more than an hour to compile which was about 5-10 minutes in the past.

If you’re building for device to test, remember you can use Live Builds to avoid making device builds and then you only need to build if you change build.settings, config.lua or need to upload to Apple.

We have changed some infrastructure bits and I’m seeing times in the 97 - 118 second range build times, but I’m also very well connected.
