VGA out

The iPad and iPhone 4 support VGA out now and it would be great to have this capability in Corona - especially for recording game demo videos.

Here is how to implement it for the iPad. I imagine the iPhone would be similar.

+1 for that as well. THis would be awesome to be able to show potential clients who want to create apps. Show the power of Corona.

Well, now that the new HDMI adapter is out, guess we don’t need this function built in anymore. Although AirPlay would be good to implement.

Does the new HDMI adapter mirror all output for iPad 1 as well? I was under the impression this would only work on iPad 2? [import]uid: 6795 topic_id: 3046 reply_id: 30195[/import]

Bummer. I just tested it on the iPad 1 and iPhone 4…and both failed to work. Looks like the adapter only works on the iPad 2. So Corona, it’s still be a nice feature to implement!

and yes, i just installed the latest firmware on the iPad and iPhone. [import]uid: 11144 topic_id: 3046 reply_id: 30318[/import]
