Video Recording - Feature Of Corona Simulator

As my last thread with this topic seems to be deleted with the change to the new forum layout, I have to ask again.

I can not find the “Video Recording” Feature documented here in the Simulator Feature-List:

Is this a bug, or has this feature been removed? Thanks for a note.

I was searching for an answer to this as well, but while looking for a way to record video on Windows, I came across CamStudio, which is open source and as such is free.

It works well, but I found setting the region to capture a bit laggy.

You can download it here:

http://camstudio.org/

I also found there is another post about screen recording in the forums here:

http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/32969-performance-issues-in-the-corona-simulator-when-recording-a-gameplay-video-osx/?hl=recording

It’s worth a read because Brent Sorrentino gives a link to a wiki page that compares different screen capture softwares (CamStudio is on the list)
