Video recording using Corona?

Is there any plan to add video capture to the Corona SDK?

In the meantime is there a way to call into Objective-C so I can use the AV Foundation Framework?

If not, then what is the smallest timer interval I can use to take pictures using media.camera?

Ok, so what is the smallest interval I can take pictures using the media.camera call?

There was another thread about adding obj-c support later, is that still in the works?
