Will corona build the ios app if you have the opengl problem in vmware? I use vmware for levelhelper and spritehelper but have yet to try and build for ios.

Most VM solutions don’t provide an adequate OpenGL compatibility layer for the Graphics 2.0 engine to work. Our advice is if this bites you, that you should build natively where you have full access to the video card.
Rob
ok, so I need to be able to use the graphics card to do a build? like be able to run the app in the simulator?
Maybe. The problem is that the simulator has to run in the VM before you can start the build process and I don’t know how crashed the simulator gets. If you can bring up the build dialog then it probably should build okay. But it could push the app beyond being able to work.
Rob
hmmm… ok. I can bring up the simulator and build it. Guess I’ll have to try out the file it gives me.
thanks Rob
