I am trying to use corona sdk in my windows partition, under vmware fusion, on a mac. I get the error in the title when I try to run the simulator from Corona Project Manager. I don’t get the error just starting the corona simulator exe. Any idea why? [import]uid: 136344 topic_id: 31312 reply_id: 331312[/import]
it is actually a macbook pro and the error i get is the topic of this message

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier, my “alert system” didn’t tell me there was a new post.
I haven’t seen that problem before. If I can find my Windows 7 disc I’ll download the trial version of Fusion and try it out (but I have no idea where that install disc is, actually).
Maybe someone else using Fusion will see this and have an answer…?

Oh, but I guess another question would be, why not just use the Mac version of Corona SDK & CPM?

I’m using corona sdk as well and I get the exact same error as you. Tell me if you were able to fix it and if so then what did you do? [import]uid: 231913 topic_id: 31312 reply_id: 144140[/import]
Are your project files on the Mac side while you’re running CPM/Outlaw on the Windows side?
If so, try moving the project files to the same side as the application and see if that makes a difference.
