Vungle payment based on install rate?

Does Vungle pay per view or following an install?

Hi Martin,

Feel free to grab me off the forum if you want to take a deep dive on the specifics about your apps. Happy to help anyway we can! :- )

Vungle pays on an effective cost per mille (eCPM). Vungle sells campaigns across 4 major mediums-

CPI - Cost per install. Mostly other games.

CPC - Cost per click. Mostly brand, service & utility apps.

CPM - Cost per mille. Brand awareness campaigns.

CPCV - Cost per completed view. Premium engagement brands.

To directly answer your question - Vungle generates revenue on click per install basis, which we back into an eCPM. We also generate revenue on the other 3 too. It comes down to the campaigns that our algorithms have dictated to your traffic. The campaigns in our stack run in highest yielding probability to the lowest yielding probability per geo.

Vungle fills video inventory world wide with a global average of >98% - this is because we sell performance media and pre-cache ads. As long as we have an advertiser in the geo of the ‘ad call’ we can generally fill the inventory.

Our blind network average (without looking at your specific app/geos/style of integration) - you can expect a range of…

$4-12 eCPM on iOS and $2-5 on Android. Revenue really comes down to, geolocation of users, style of integration (skippable, forced, rewarded).

A common misconception that is seen when analyzing Vungle is our eCPM. We might be paying a global average of $5 eCPM - when other providers are $7 for example. Our $5 eCPM is global non weighted average. When other providers are paying $7 on your tier 1 traffic and not filling your rest of world traffic. When the likely scenario is that Vungle is paying comparable if not higher eCPMs in the same geos+ filling all the traffic that is being left behind by other networks.

Cheers,

AA

Hi Andrew,

That’s a full and most helpful response I (and I’m quite sure others in the Corona community) appreciate you laying it all out like that.

Thanks again, and I’ll be sure to reach out to you if needed.

Best,

Martin.
