Hi, I need to make a Wallpaper application for mobile devices. I was working with Gideros before, but it apparently supports no function for changing the wallpaper of the device. Unfortunately there isn’t a function in Corona that allows you to change the wallpaper on the users device. The best you could do is save the image to their photo library and then tell them to set it manually.
If there actually is such a function and i’ve missed it, that would be a nice surprise

I’m not aware of a way to do this either. This probably could be done with Corona Enterprise, but I would venture a guess that once the plugin system is made publicly available, these kinds of features will start showing up like crazy.
