Want to test my app but the Corona SDK Simulator occurs a problem...

Dear people, 

after I have updated to iOS 10 this following problem is displayed. I don’t know what to do. 
Spent almost 2 entire days now just to test my app on my device. Before iOS 10 there was not any problems. 
But after this iOS 10 update this is displayed… always when i try to get my app to my phone to test it. 

ideviceinstaller encountered an error installing the app: ERROR: Could not connect to lockdownd, error code -17 ERROR: Could not connect to lockdownd, error code -17 ERROR: no USB connected devices detected (if one is attached, try reconnecting it)

Can you help me and say me what to do? I already have deleted all corona built and installed from 2016.2906 to the latest.

You can just build the app, then open Xcode, choose window > devices then click your device and drag the .app file (your built app) onto the “installed apps” list.

I have the same issue (and the same workaround works, thank you!) but does anyone know how to fix the problem properly?  It’s an annoying extra step to have to go via Xcode.

Yep. Update to the latest daily build, the problem has been fixed :slight_smile:

You can just build the app, then open Xcode, choose window > devices then click your device and drag the .app file (your built app) onto the “installed apps” list.
