We have identified a potential advertising ID policy violation with your app(s)

This is found in the google play dashboard.

I don’t use any ADS in my apps.

but I got this warning from google play

“We have determined that your app uses a library or SDK (com.inneractive, com.inneractive.api, com.inneractive.api.ads)”

these are old apps from 2013 before the Graphics 2.0 update.

i recompiled using build 2013.1202 , will it fix the issue ?

Anyone who has an idea please advise.

i got the same message
corona whats the fix ?

i re-compiled with 1202 seems to have fixed the issue.

I received a notice the other day regarding this - recompiled with a later version of the SDK and the violation notice is still there. These apps were paid, and don’t have ads in them.

What is the advertising ID they are referring to, or what is this notice about?

Hey JBean, I think Google play does not check it upon app submission. I think they have a bot that checks it from time to time, but this is just my guess. Because when I recompiled with 1202 the notification still shows up on the dashboard then after a couple of hours it disappeared.

hope this helps.

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification - so if I just leave it published for a few hours, it should disappear then? I’ll try that out with one of the apps to see if it works

i did a update 1-2 days ago
still same warning build 2014.2438

Hmm, blomjens1, I wonder what fixed it for me for build 1202.

it may be like this

my new update is on higer android version = customer with a lower version of android will not get a update = still a version on cutomers phone that is not ok

Jbean please keep us updated if you version is ok
thanks!

My version is still showing the flag on one of the apps and it’s been over 2 hours since I published the new APK so it has not worked! Corona, do we have a solution to this problem?

I used build 2407

give it a some more time

I have a feeling they aren’t going to change, and for one of the apps it’s been 3 hours - what really sucks is if you unpublished the app, the notice still won’t disappear.

How much time will it take to update in the system do you think?

usally when you get a Warning

you get a week or so to update

i hade old Phone gap /cordova app that got a warning

it was crap so i removed it

but stil the warning is displayed

there is a from you can fill out  to tell them you have fixed this

but im hopping for the robot to return soon and auto fix the warning :)

mine took 6 hours i think, i updated at night, when i woke up it’s gone.

build 1202

It worked! The notices all got removed!

ok time for me to redo my update then
is it this one you have used ?

JBean
did you have the version warning ?
“Previously active APKs supported more devices than those in the draft configuration. Some devices will not receive upgrades”

I used version 2407

No it was a different warning, but I don’t have it anymore to show you - something to do with api, I can’t recall the whole thing.

But using 2407 and just updating the app removed the warning.

I think I misunderstood your question - I don’t recall ever having that warning.

wow now its gone

i guse if its not gone in 5-6h something is wrong

my first update was 3 days a go but that dident do anything

did a new before i went to bed with the lates daily build and now it fixed
