We mac users of Corona SDK need an APK editor. One that is easy to use and has a graphical interface. Something that doesn’t require us to add root access and whatever other complicated and difficult processes there are currently for editing our apk’s. I am getting rejected from Amazon for the internet permissions. I am sick of the “well just add some internet features” answers. I know I am not the only one out there that has problems with the permissions. Either something needs to be figured out so we can easily choose our permissions from the build.settings file, or someone needs to create a tool like Lime, or Project Manager, that will let us decompile, edit, and recompile our apk’s without having to learn to navigate the command line. Or even if you could put out separate builds for Corona. The fact is only 1 of my 7 apps uses the internet, I would rather have a build that has the internet.permission disabled by default If one of you would like to walk me through using the APKTool I would be totally up for that. Or post the walkthrough on the blog. [import]uid: 46742 topic_id: 19205 reply_id: 319205[/import]
Here is a tutorial. The installation for Mac is the same as Linux.
Good luck
