What happened, and what could be causing this?

Does anyone know why an app would work perfectly in the simulator. Even on the last device build i did, but now the menu freezes and there’s no buttons on the screen of my device.

The simulator works perfectly and the console has absolutely no errors or warnings on it. My device also doesn’t give me any type of error code. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to debug it?

Thanks for any help i can get!

You may want to check the filenames of your assets.  The filename is case sensitive… In the simulator its not and will work correctly but on the device it wont work…

Hello there,

Try debugging it on the device. You need to download Google’s ADB (if u are using android ofc). Here is a guide on how to do it:

https://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/basics/debugging/index.html#TOC

I would just read directly the part of: “Device Debugging — Android” or “Device Debugging — iOS” respectively.

Thanks this is what it was, I realized I had a display object I left in the code and just got rid of the file. Which didn’t change anything in the simulator, but messed it up on device… Now I feel kind of like an idiot lol!
