I’ve recently made some changes to the ads I display in my app. I’ve now included interstitials and this has made my overal CTR move from %0.15 to %1.50 … the CTR for the interstitial is %14.64.
I became deeply concerned after reading different stories across the internet about a lot of people who got banned from admob because of high ctr…
does anyone have any experience to give advice on this matter?

I can’t remember what mine was (but it was up around there) and I got banned. I almost wonder if it’s better to use fullscreen with banners. Since banners will bring down that overall CTR. I was using only fullscreen ads at the time.
Do you remember how much clicks and views you were getting? … an example of a day for me would be 36,000 impressions and 500 clicks
I sadly can’t remember (this was back in November) and when you get banned you can’t even get into the dashboard to view your stats. Which is annoying since those stats would be very useful when trying to appeal the ban.
I sent them an email… so I’m waiting to see if they reply.
Why did you get banned?
No idea. It said invalid clicks (not from me). It could have been in my apps or possibly on my websites. Since Google kept wanting me to combine AdSense and AdMob accounts (which I stupidly did). I think the AdSense checker saw my AdMob report and freaked out and I got the ban hammer.
It’s really lame since someone can come along and click an ad a bunch of times and get me banned. Yet I have little to no control in trying to stop them.
