what is an app secret and how do i use it?

ok so when you created your app in developers.facebook . . you get an appId and an appSecret. . someone tell me what this ‘appSecret’ is?? is this your hashkey??

It is not the hash key.  The AppSecret list listed on the Facebook developer’s portal at the same place your AppID is listed, just the line below it.
