What is: CFNetwork SSLHandshake failed

Corona Simulator[7570:940b] CFNetwork SSLHandshake failed (-9806)

Why does this message appear in the console when i build my ios app? What does it mean? :wacko:

Im using a adhoc distribution profile if that is important.

with version 1249 it doesnt happen with every build, so its ok :wink:

Im getting this with version 1259 using a distribution profile too. I canā€™t upload to itunes connect, not sure if this is causing thatā€¦ Did anyone solved this?Ā

Hi!

I got the error message sometimes. But in the end I got a build with no handshake error.

Are you, like me, getting the message that you are missing theĀ metadata.xml when you are using Application Loader?

It seems like disabling the sync with dropbox during the build makes the handshake error disappear :smiley:

@reyanthonyrenacia, are you getting this error in your logs?Ā  No one on this post is discussing anything about facebook.

If you are not seeing this specific error in your logs, please open a new thread as to not distract this one.

Ok.

I have tested building with dropbox sync enabled and disabled during the build.

With dropbox sync enabled I get 60% handshake error (version 1249).

With the dropbox sync disabled I get 10% handshake error.

So its not perfect, but it helps a lot :smiley: And it takes less time if you temporarly disable the dropbox sync during the build.

You can always turn the syncing back on after you have finished the build :wink:
