What is required to test my app?

Hi everybody,

I’ve just started to learn Corona a few days ago and I’d like to know what I need to test my applications on my iPad…

I’ve found this documentation http://developer.anscamobile.com/demo/DeviceBuildGuide.pdf and it looks like I will have to join the Apple iOS Developer Program to be able to deploy my applications on my iPad.
Is joining the $99 Apple iOS Developer Program is mandatory in order to test my applications on a real iDevice even if I don’t plan to submit any applications to Apple anytime soon?

Also do I need a Corona license to test my applications on my iPad? From what I’ve read it doesn’t look required but I prefer double checking :wink:

Hi everybody!

I’m very exited as I try to test my first Corona app on my own iPad. So I’m following the .pdf doc mentioned above but the chapter “Building your App using Corona” (page 16) does not look up to date as I can’t find the menu “Open for Build…” !!! What should I instead?
