Hi @amenuelmussie.

First Eclipse is an IDE used to write code and manage projects.  Google’s Android and the Java SDK uses Eclipse for you to build Android apps.  Corona SDK is more like a mix of Java and the Android SDK that can produce mobile apps.  You could if you wanted produce Android apps without Eclipse.

With our new pricing, for Free, you can do everything but use In-App Purchases, Anayltics, plugins and the upcoming advanced Graphics 2.0 engine.  You also can’t access the daily builds.  *Some plugins will be available for starter accounts.

You can build apps for Apple, Android (Google Play, Amazon and Nook).  You have access to a fast, easy to use and master SDK (Java/Android and Objective C/iOS are considerably more difficult to learn and master, and of course it limits your platforms if you only go with one of them and it’s incredibly difficult to be good at both.
