What software do you use to create/design game levels?

I use Photoshop to create art and then save every image and put it all together with code, this is pretty time consuming though, are there any good level design tools out there where I can just take my artwork put it together and then package it to run it on corona? What is the best way to go around this?

There’s this http://www.retrofitproductions.com/level-director/ - I haven’t actually used it myself (as I have a Mac and this was developed for Windows OS).  Might be worth checking out if you develop on Windows though.
