Hello
I wanted to build test app for my iPhone. But from this article - http://developer.anscamobile.com/content/building-devices-iphoneipad - I can see than I need to make all these steps and buy their iOS dev program - am I right? Is there any way how I can build my test apps for iPhone WITHOUT doing all these things? [import]uid: 31161 topic_id: 10839 reply_id: 310839[/import]
Hey there,
No. You need to have a license because you need to have a provisioning file to build an iOS application that you can test on your advice.

Interestingly tho, you don’t need a codsign identity to build for the emulator. Emulator apps aren’t signed. However Corona refuses to build unless you select a valid codesign identity from the drop down
Would be nice if they removed that requirement for emulator builds
