Actually I found the answer by scouring through Walter’s posts in the blog (iOS 6 according to the entry I turned up), but is there an up to date fact sheet which lists the system requirements for target devices?
I see what you’re going after here, but I have to say its unlikely this kind of list will or can exist. Why? Because, Corona has a large number of features, ranging from basic/core features (render polygons/lines/text/textures/…), to advanced features (Filters/ Blending/ Special Render modes), to specialized features (facebook / twitter / the many plugins).
If we forget about the fact that not all features are supported for all licenses, making a unified list or spreadsheet showing minimum requirements for everything would be… well daunting.
Having said that, things are not as bad as they may seem. At this time, I believe the minimum supported versions for Android and iOS respectively are: 2.3.3 and 6.0. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Also, with regards to iOS you should be aiming at 7.0 ONLY.
(FYI I found these answers by searching the blogs like this: Googled ‘corona blog ios version’; The blogs often relay this kind of info.)
PS - I forgot to mention, many specific features will mention that they require certain hardware support and provide ways to find out if the hardware supports those features.
