Personally I use the Nexus One. [import]uid: 11393 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 16430[/import]
I use HTC Desire. [import]uid: 10507 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 16433[/import]
Galaxy S from T-mobile [import]uid: 11860 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 17654[/import]
We went with T-Mobile:
Phone: HTC MyTouch G4 Android 2.2
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab Android 2.2 [import]uid: 4871 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 17896[/import]
we here have motorola droids and galaxy tabs… those are the best… stay away from goog phones
and yes, there are some p4mance issues in corona android and we are fixing them… specially with touch events and the valdik eating into the gc … stay away from Android 1.6

I think about buying this one. It’s not a high end device and it runs Android 2.x.
Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3
Opinions? [import]uid: 4589 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 18071[/import]
Get an HTC Desire. It is one of the best android phones atm. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 18373[/import]
Has anyone tried using a HTC Aria for Corona?
I’m looking to port my iPhone game to Android, but I don’t have an Android phone yet. I’ve checked out most of the top line modules (HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy S etc) but I’ve come across the HTC Aria and its looking rather appealing.
The reasons I’m considering it over the others are:
- Its much cheaper for me to get one!
- More importantly, its more of a ‘mid-range’ phone so possibly might be more indicative of a typical Android user experience.
I’m in Australia so I won’t have the sideloading issues that AT&T users in the US apparently have with them (correct me if I’m wrong though!). I’m hoping I can still put my developer builds on this phone though - so if you’re an Aussie with this phone let me know if its possible!
The second contender was possibly the Galaxy S.
Any thoughts on the Aria?
Many thanks

Any opinions on a Samsung Galaxy Apollo GT-I5800?
I have just forked out for an iPad 2 so want a cheap Android testing device:) [import]uid: 7863 topic_id: 5022 reply_id: 32417[/import]
Has anyone had experience using the Viewsonic G Tablet for Corona app testing? It’s available pretty cheaply right now (cheaper than any ARMv7 cell phone I have seen) and could be excellent for testing applications for a few form factors.
I went out and purchased an LG Optimus V for testing back in the days before ARMv7 was a requirement and it ran my game perfectly well using Corona.268. Unfortunately the webpopup keyboard bug forced my hand and made me upgrade my Corona version. So close.
