When I click 'build for android, the simulator closes.

Hi I’ve been searching all day to no avail. I have a game written and running well in the corona simulator.

I want to test it on a phone and a tablet but when I click build for android in the simulator it just closes the simulator. Its like clicking exit. I’m running the ‘lite’ version. Doing a game for a college project.

I have reinstalled corona to default location, installed java 6, no path variable set …

Any help is much appreciated.

Are you on a Mac or PC?

When you say “lite” are you talking about Starter edition?

I am on a PC - Windows Vista

Running corona version Version 3.0.4 (6)

Im not sure if its starter, I don’t see that written on it anywhere.

When i say “lite” I mean not registered.

I had the same problem. I looked everywhere, but there is no answer on the forum. The problem is that corona does not other coding in pathways except Latin. For example I had installed Corona in C:/Мои документы/Corona (It is Cyrillic) and it is always crashed. So I installed it in C:/Corona and it helped.

I hope it will help

Did anton2111’s advice to make sure your path is all straight up ASCII characters work?  Can you check to make sure there are no spaces?

i also dont know what you mean by version 3.0.4 (6).  Our version numbers are like 2013.1131
