Your site says that webinars will be back at january but I have no had any emails and would really like to see one because my brother used to watch them but I didnt use corona then and he said they were really good and you could get questions answered and they showed you lots of easy stuff you should know but that they answered harder questions too is there a link to join a list to know when they are?
Hi Bud,
If you haven’t tuned in to Corona Geek each Monday, I think you’d really enjoy it. You can either watch/listen live, or watch it at your convenience when it’s posted online. Corona Geek is a fun, casual, interactive video-cast where we talk about everything mobile: technology, code, devices, new products, or whatever is interesting in a particular week.
While the old webinars were enjoyed by many, they were not as effective for our developers worldwide who simply couldn’t tune in because of their time zone. We’re looking into a method that might bridge the gap between Corona Geek and the webinar format, perhaps via videos that let people learn at their own pace or similar.
In the meantime, check out Corona Geek, it is live every Monday, 12-1 PM U.S. Pacific time… or you can tune in to every episode later in the week, or look back at all of the episodes here:

I watched it today but it was not very good and definitely not good for new users like me and you couldn’t ask questions and there wasn’t good slides or any walk throughs for new users couldnt you just do webinars like you used to and record some of those to put online for people in different time zones?
Bump could you put up an old one recorded or do one and record it because your site promised they would do them again?
Bumping a post that is only a couple of days old isn’t necessary. It takes time for people to respond to posts, in particular if we have to do any research, communicate with other staff members, etc. Thank you for understanding.
Most forums say one day but ok I will ask you in a few days so you can research if there is a video of an old webinar online or do a new one thank you rob :) also how do I make the emotes bigger thanks?
I don’t know that you can make the emotes bigger.
Ask your boss please or should I file a feature request forum in the feature request page for allow bigger emotes that you have please thank you?
Bud, please restrain from using large fonts. It’s the same as shouting and isn’t permitted. I have hidden your two posts. If you wish to re-ask your question with normal fonts, I’ll let them post.
As for the emotes, they are an appropriate size for normal fonts. You do not need larger ones.
That was very rude of you to not say anything and just delete my posts it takes me a long time to type because of dyslexia to spell everything right and you did not even warn me you just deleted them put them back dont just delete my things that didnt break the rules until you changed them and change the font if you want to but dont delete posts that take me a long time to write because my mom says that makes you a horrible person if you dont even warn someone then you destroy something that they worked hard on and writing is hard for me so please dont be a horrible person about it and put them back.
Hi Bud,
My apologies for this; we are aware of your requests, and we are not trying to “censor” you. Merely, we are discussing internally whether we need to modify/add a few rules in these new forums, based on the fact that certain features like large, bold, colorful fonts were not even available in the old forums. When new features are made available, it’s impossible to predict how people will use them and/or abuse them.
Also, you should know that large, bold fonts are on the list of “unspoken” forum etiquette no-nos, both here and on most other forums you might read. I don’t feel that this is some kind of unfair, horrible rule that we’re proposing. As Rob said, your usage of fonts in those (hidden) messages is the online version of “screaming in somebody’s face.” It’s not considered polite or appropriate… again, here in the Corona forums and basically anywhere else too.
Although some would claim otherwise, we are extremely tolerant of most posts on these forums. We just occasionally need to adjust a few things here and there, but these rules are put in place to keep the forums civil and polite, not to censor you.
Sincerely,
Brent Sorrentino
I’m going to unhide them and set the fonts back to normal but in the future, they will be hidden again.
Hi Bud, I’m sorry for hiding your posts. I wasn’t trying to single you out. We have done a bad job of articulating our forum etiquette. We need to get better. We have already been in touch with your mother on that.
I hope there are no hard feelings and I hope you continue to participate in the community.
Rob
