WHERE DID Corona Paper GO? I paid for a year..

Subscribed for one year in March.

Haven’t received an email from Joomag. Guess I’ll have to contact them for a refund.

Cant pass up that deal :), signed up

Will those who purchased the digital subscription get this as well?

If you go thru paypal - they will give you your money back and if you also have the emails from Joomag saying they would refund you but did not, then you should have a 100% chance of getting your money back!!!

I do not think anyone would have been so pissed off if they only knew how to return peoples emails - Or at least post something on Corona’s Forums…

But I hope their game goes well for them.

@doubleslashdesign: Does that mean that I have to wait for them to send me an email? I´ve created my second support request but did not get an email yet. The first one is more than a month old and still unanswered…

No I doubt it i was just saying that I thought they had a great chance of getting a refund.

hopefully wont screw around long either.

Well, I created a paypal request… hope that this gets some attention

@cspence

Contact me from the website as well - I’ll make sure you are taken care of

Hello everyone!

My name is Andreas Kviby, I am the CEO of 10FINGERS. I got really surprised today when a coworker of mine tipped me of this thread and all those people obviously a bit angry at us at 10FINGERS.

I have requested Joomag to send out instructions on how to get a refund several times because we as publishers do not get the list of subscribers so I couldn’t refund you guys.

We are ofcourse sorry that we had to discountinue the production of the superb magazine CoronaPaper. We invested over 15.000 USD in every issue and sold an extremely small amount of magazines. People do not want to pay for this kind of online magazines and that makes me sad ofcourse. We have four people employeed to produce the magazine and it has been my dream for years to publish the CoronaPaper so I was very sad when I had to close the magazine.

Maybe some of you have ideas on how to start it up again?

To stop making enemies out there send me your emailaddress and I will personally refund you all asap through Paypal.

And again… I am very sorry, it was an economical decision, if we had more subscribers like you it would still be alive.

I must also assure you that we are not clowns nor trying to rip you off. Find the cure is a great game that we have work with for more than a year and the people making that game are excellent Corona developers.

We are 26 employees at 10FINGERS and make all kinds of apps and games using Corona SDK and Icenium to do so.

Please contact me personally at andreas (at) 10fingers (dot) se to get your refund and if you have any questions.

best regards

Andreas Kviby

It is great you came on here to respond.

Thank you for that.  But a lot of us have contacted you directly via email and Twitter.  I find it difficult to believe no one knew about this.  Not to mention JooMag reached out to you many times.  You also knew you ceased production of this magazine, and could have easily contacted JooMag to let them know and they could deal with it.

Not to be cynical, but it does look like this is more a saving face attempt than the real story.

Ultimate it is real unfortunate (but not that unexpected) not enough people were interested to make it worth the effort.  The magazine itself was great.

I contacted Andreas this morning by email after seeing his update and within minutes he’d refunded me.

That’s quality customer service, well played Sir!!!

Crussell

I did the same but haven´t got any response yet

Although I didn’t subscribe as the CEO …
Nvm I’ll stay out of it

Refund received now. Thanks

Probably not the greatest idea to post people’s e-mail addresses without their prior consent???

I know but there is no secrets inside this conversation. We and Joomag have done what we could in this matter but we could have done it sooner and better and I regret this and I have said that I am sorry. I lost more than 60.000 US dollars in this project so I am also really dissapointed that we had to cancel it and let the employees go from the paper to other projects.

If I could I would love to restart the magazine again but I currently don’t have the budget for that.

Best regards

Andreas Kviby

Hi guys,

With respect to people’s personal information i hid akviby’s post. For the people following the thread, this is his comment:

Hey there

I do not know what you mean by lots of people have
contacted me directly and that Joomag have contacted me a lot. Joomag
sent me an email the 11th of july and I responded directly and asked
them to send me all subscribers emailaddresses so I could refund them
all with 100%. I have been waiting since then for an answer and I got
one 31st of july with only two addresses they thought should be
refunded. I haven’t been able to refund sooner, I am truly sorry about
this. I could have posted information like I did some days ago already
in late june and I didn’t and I am sorry about that but we run a lot of
projects and this was not my prio 1 that period of time.

I am not the type of guy trying to save face in front of a community,
that is not my kind of style. You can believe what ever you want but I
stick with the truth.

You can see the mail conversation yourself and hopefully stop racking down on me from today on.

Best regards Andreas Kviby

Oh wow! You can not imagine how I feel right now! I got the refund yesterday, so what?? This is normal and everyone who subscribed should be aware of their customer rights! There is no excuse for this late reply and I can not believe how you are able to reveal this sensitive data to the PUBLIC!

I have reported this post and thread. You should remove your post immediately. This is far away from professional business.

Thank you alexf!

I also got a refund after contacting Andreas, so noi complaints from me
