Where to start developing a game like Limbo?

Is that kind of game posible to do with tile maps? i mean, which is the best way to start a game like that?

If tile maps is the way, which engine are corona users using and easy to learn? (i never use maps before)

You probably could do tile maps, but these look more like simple scenes with some physics elements going on.  Perhaps you should look at our new Corona Composer tool which can be used to build scenes like this.
