I see the listed last stable release was 704a. I am developing for iPad, can I get by with a newer release then that, or is every release since that one issue-prone??? If I go with the 704a, what newer features will I not have access to… for example storyboard, new sprite stuff, etc…

Thanks Richard. Just had read some forum stuff where there were some issues with screen going blank and not responding. Just didn’t want to put out my first app and have those things happen. I will give the latest build a try. I guess if there are issues, I can (I hope easily) drop back to the last known stable build.

Well the problem is basically this:
Stable is stable, but it lacks most of the great features and some stability fixes that have come since. You’re trading new stability for old stability, basically.
Generally speaking the daily builds are a hell of a lot more stable than beta products I’ve used elsewhere. Occasionally you do get the weird or bad bug, but usually on those new features ™.
You can, of course, always revert to older daily builds or even to a stable build. You’ll lose features depending on how far you go back. Right now the difference between stable and daily is pretty huge, so I’d be hesitant to use daily, myself. But I’m using stuff like the widget libraries.
