Preferably something free. StartApp is Android only, Vungle doesn’t appear to support them, inMobi’s banners only work in test mode and their support is very unresponsive.
I’ve been out of this racket for a couple years, but what happened to Revmob? They just worked out of the box, no muss, no fuss, now they’re apparently gone.

Also, is Appodeal going to become a paid plugin when it’s out of Beta?
Appodeal is not in beta.
There is the stable and the beta plugin.
Documentation is a bit messy 
I guess Appodeal (includes Admob and many other networks) would be a good solution.
Especially when it will be updated to the latest SDK (this week hopefully).
Never used banners in my games.
Too bad about the docs, the Vungle docs had the same issue. Is this a plugin thing or does all of Corona have outdated docs?
So Appodeal is a free plugin, but it uses ad services who have paid plugins? That appears to be what I am hearing. Do I just have to register with Appodeal, or with all of the ad networks it uses, as well?
Appodeal documentation is a bit messy, not outdated.
Probably, right now, the only correction needed is the beta version box.

The plugin made from Corona and all Appodeal services are for free.
Appodeal is a mediation platform.
You need an Appodeal and an Admob account if you want Admob ads.
I think you have to do it for Facebook ads too.
For all other ad networks Appodeal controls everything.
Maybe you should check it yourself and learn how Appodeal works in theirs website.
