Who knows getjar? No compatible version found for device

Hi there!

I submitted my game Wonder Witches to getjar. During the creation of the getjar entry, one has to specify the devices it targets (I did it per feature), and my device a Samsung Galaxy S Plus shows up correctly in the supported devices list. Now the game was approved but I can’t install it. When i visit the web site form my phone it says "No compatible version found for “Samsung GT i9001 Galaxy S Plus”.

Similar when I visit the website (http://www.getjar.com/wonderwitches) and choose a different phone (e.g. a Nexus) I get:
“We’ve got good news and bad news: we’ve figured out that you have a Google Galaxy Nexus mobile phone, but unfortunately Wonder Witches won’t work on that phone.”

I guess it’s just something simple that I might have done wrong… Any ideas?

Wunderwuzzi, did you ever resolve this? I have an approved app on GetJar (Grades2Go Mobile at http://www.getjar.com/mobile/371712/grades2go) that shows “incompatible” no matter what device I try to download to. The compatibility list shows all the devices I tested it on, but they all say “incompatible.” Also, my app doesn’t show up in any searches or lists.

I didn’t develop this on Corona, so I’m sure the development system isn’t the problem here. On GetJar, I don’t see any way to change this situation via editing of my app. So far, emails to GetJar haven’t yielded any responses.

It seems strange that no “solution” to this appears on the internet, even though a fair number of developers have experienced the problem. Have you gotten any answers from GetJar? [import]uid: 131913 topic_id: 22604 reply_id: 91101[/import]

Hi avizulis! Sorry, I totally missed your response until I just now!

I am not sure how getjar really works, after a few days the problem was resolved by itself and I got a bunch of downloads (actually a lot), but they all came directly from getjar and not the link over to Google Play (which is a bit of a bummer, otherwise I would have many more downloads on Google Play already).

About a week ago I submitted an update to my game on getjar, but until now people are still only downloading the old version. The user interface is a bit challenging and I haven’t received responses to my inquiries.
