Why A Pausable transition is not in core Corona?

This feature is one of the most use transition method. Currently, we rely on 3rd party library, which lack of update and worry about which one the best.

Any reason why Corona not adding this feature?

This is coming soon, seriously. And you’ll get more than just pause and resume… there’s frosting on the cake which will make it worth the wait. I can say no more, but… you’ll see. :slight_smile:

The transition library is in the initial testing phase now.

As for the definition for soon, sometimes things tend to take a bit longer than planned, given prototyping, testing, compatibility checking, etc. Nevertheless, if the testing goes ok and we find no major problems, you can expect the transition library to be available at least at a betatesting level the latest at the end of June.
