Why Not A Combobox Control?

Is there any particular reason a combobox is not available as a widget or control on here? There is everything else including a tableView, buttons, switches, etc. I know there is a picker wheel but that is so big on the screen. I’m just curious…

Same for me, I am a newbie, so if I am wrong, please forgive me. But for normal application development, we really need those standard controls like textarea, checkbox, password, dropdown, combobox, radio buttons, etc.

Why not make one? After all Corona provides all the tools you need! You could start with analyzing the widget-v1 library that is now open-source on GitHub

Thanks Michael. There are some interesting widgets there but not a combobox. And I would not know where to start on creating my own.
